Full Text

Mr. RIND.

The following paragraph in a letter from an American, and true friend of liberty, now in London, to his friend in Virginia, who has also a real regard for liberty, ought to be made public, as it will give the Virginians an opportunity of being grateful to so worthy a Governor, as I am sure they always wish to be.

London, July 19, 1769.

"Lord BOTETOURT, to his honour, has wrote much in your favour. Since the advices from Virginia and Boston, 'tis generally believed the American revenue acts will be repealed: tho' some weighty people are against it. Most here think the Americans are in the right."
