FROM FORT AU PRINCE.

Captain Prentiss, of the schr. Susan, who sailed from Port-au-Prince, on the 1st instant, informs that advices were received there four days previous, that Christophe was on his march, and within 50 miles of the place. In consequence of this intelligence, Petion immediately ordered out 7000 men, and had already organized 6000, who were on the march to meet the enemy. It was expected the forces of the rival chiefs would meet each other on the day Captain S. sailed.
