Nilsson's Mysterious Movements.
New York, July 29.-A morning paper has the following: It was said at a late hour last night that Christine Nilsson, the famous songstress, had arrived in town during the day upon some errand which is apparently shrouded in deep mystery. She is supposed to be staying at one of the hotels on Union square, under an assumed name, in order to avoid publicity. It is understood that some big operatic scheme is about to be consummated, and that the present mysterious movements are being used to work up to an effective dramatic climax for the denouement.
