WHITFIELD CANDIDATES WANT "CLEAN POLITICS"

DALTON, GA., Aug. 19.-Aspirants for county office in Whitfield have gone on record for "clean politics." Candidates have signed the following agreement:

"We, the undersigned candidates, believing in pure elections, hereby agree to pledge ourselves to abstain from the use of any intoxicant in our respective races and further agree and pledge ourselves to refrain from the corrupt use of money in the purchase of votes or other illegal use of same, and to lend our influence in the prosecution of the party or parties guilty of so doing."
