The Little Rock (Ark.) Gazette of the 29th ult. contains the following paragraph, which it says is founded on information derived from a letter written by Mr. R. A. Calloway, sub-agent of the Osage Indians:

"The Comanche Indians, it is believed, are contemplating an attack upon the frontiers of Texas so soon as the leaves fall from the trees. They have made propositions to the Osages to join them with four hundred warriors, which the Osages have refused. They have also sent the pipe to all of the neighboring tribes."
