Full Text

Drury Divorced,

The domestic troubles, says the Grass Valley Union, of Drury Malone, Secretary of State, and wife, which obtruded themselves upon public notice two years ago, have ended in a divorce, which was granted by the Sacramento District Court on Saturday. The suit was brought by Malone, who charged his wife, Cora Anna, with desertion. Their child, Howard Drury Malone, was awarded to the custody of the father. The decree directs that the defendant, the mother, shall at all suitable and convenient times be permitted to see and visit the child at the residence of the plaintiff, but she shall not at any time remove said child from the custody of the plaintiff: that said child is not to be removed from the State without the leave of the Court.
