BASS IS APPOINTED STATE FARM AGENT FOR GLASGOW AREA
Announcement was made last week that L. F. (Vern) Bass, who has been agent for the State Farm Insurance Company in Sidney the past two years, has been transferred to Glasgow as agent for that area. He will continue to operate his agency in Sidney until he is replaced, which will be in the very near future.
Mrs. Bass and their three sons, LaVerne Jr., Bruce and Thomas, and their daughter Nancy will move to Glasgow as soon as living accommodations are available.
Mr. Bass, a native of North Dakota, spent his early life in Kenmare, and operated a Coast-to-Coast store there for seven years. He later engaged in sales-work in Williston, N. D., for three years before coming to Sidney as agent for State Farm Insurance.
