Two or three Nights ago a Journeyman Watchmaker, who had been that Day married at May-Fair, was permitted to consummate the Marriage at his Master's House, near the Hay-Market, when after the usual Carousing upon such Occasions, and the Ceremony of Bedding being over, the Family retir'd to Rest; but they were soon alarm'd with a Noise of Scolding and Brawling, and were still more surpriz'd, when they found the Quarrel was betwixt the new married Couple; they endeavour'd to pacify them, but such was the Fury of the young Wife, that she could not be persuad'd, for that Night, to make it up with her Husband.
