Boosters for improvement of road conditions over the northern route to San Diego from Imperial Valley, via Julian, met yesterday at Borego to discuss road conditions.
Over 40 persons were present, including a delegation from the north end of the valley. Report was made at the meeting that the San Diego supervisors are willing to appropriate money for the improvement of the section of the road lying in that county and it is hoped that similar action may be taken by the Imperial county supervisors.
The road is acquiring increasing popularity each year, and it is hoped eventually to have a graded highway throughout.
