Suicide at Rumford.

Early Friday morning, Millard F. Virgin, aged 48 years, a well-known farmer of Rumford Corner, shot himself through the temple and killed himself instantly. Mr. Virgin was found, by his wife, dead in his bedroom about 5 o'clock. For some weeks he had been in poor health and the cause of the deed is supposed to have been insanity. Thirteen years ago, Mr. Virgin while temporarily insane, as was supposed, jumped into the river intending to drown himself. He was rescued and could give no reason for attempting to take his life. He leaves a wife and four children, the oldest being a boy twenty years of age.
