GREENBRIER HIGH SCHOOL NOTES.

(ERMA HOGSETT, EDITOR.)

Begin now to save your pennies to buy a ticket to see the one great event of the season—the Christmas Pageant—at the high school auditorium, Dec. 16th, at 8 p. m. Come and bring your neighbors with you.

We have a nice cinder walk extending from the school building. Mr. Harr and the boys borrowed a horse and wagon, hauled the material and made the walk.

A lecture on sheep, illustrated by the use of moving picture slides, is being given for the benefit of the animal husbandry class.

Athletic membership is being solicited. The fee is 50 cents a semester.

Mrs. E. E. Graham attended chapel exercises last week.

Gus Bowling thinks his equations in Chemistry will be something like turning water into wine.

We did not have chapel this week, but devoted the time to practicing for the pageant.

Thursday was a holiday as Teachers District Institute met at the high school auditorium.

Just five school days until we get out for the Christmas holidays. Hurray for Xmas!

BIG NIGHT !!!

December 16, 1920.
Start your Christmas right. Come to see the best entertainment of the season—the big Christmas Pageant. At the high school auditorium.

Come with a half dollar and a quarter.
Come if you have to crawl.
Come with at least fifty cents;
Or, do not come at all.

The Sophomore class of Greenbrier high school has arranged with the Sophomore class of Marlinton high school to have a debate on "Immigration" on Dec. 15, in the auditorium of Greenbrier high school.
