March 3. They write from Vienna, that a Courier lately arrived there with a Letter from the Great Duke of Tuscany, in which he acquaints his Imperial Majesty, that he will set out from Florence in April next, that he may be at Vienna in the Beginning of May: so that it is thought his Royal Highness will take upon him the Command of the Imperial Army in Hungary this Campaign, and they assure us that the Veldt Marshal Count Wallis is to command under him; that the Emperor has had a Conference with some of his Ministers, concerning the Affair of the Veldt Marshal Count Seckendorff, and that it was even propos'd to employ him again in the Imperial Army; but that one of the Ministers represented in very strong Terms, all the Inconveniences which might result from such a Step. They add, that a Spanish Ecclesiastic, who is lately arrived at Vienna, has frequent Conferences with his Imperial Majesty's Ministers, and it is reported, that the Subject of them is a Settlement in Italy for the Infant Don Philip.
