The attendance of the Editor upon the State Convention at Raleigh will account for any deficiencies in this issue of the "Southerner." He left on yesterday in company with a large Delegation from this and the lower Counties, who go to swell the enthusiastic rally of the Democratic Masses of the State.
It will probably be one of the largest political assemblages ever congregated in North Carolina, and its action will be eagerly looked for in every portion of the State.
