Mrs. P. N. Van Slyck was elected chairman of the Ten Thousand club's Twice Told Tales section at the meeting Monday afternoon held at the home of Mrs. P. A. Murray, 1046 Brighton avenue.

Mrs. Van Slyck will succeed Mrs. Norman E. Dupont.

Mrs. John T. Rice was elected vice-chairman, Mrs. Don C. Paulus secretary-treasurer, while the section voted to have Mrs. W. H. Tyler, Jr. represent it in giving the program next year for the Ten Thousand club.

Fine Program

Mrs. Don C. Paulus told her first story for the section Monday, selecting the "Westward Bound in the Schooner Yankee" by Capt. and Mrs. Irving Johnson.

The book is the story of the long voyage made in the ship to out-of-the-way ports of the world, including many romantic islands of the South Seas. Tales of exploration and of adventure were recounted, Mrs. Paulus giving an excellent review which proved her to be a decided addition to the group.
