Miss Anna Marie Northrup came Sunday to the E. L. Domning home to look after the boys during the illness and absence of her sister, Mrs. Domning.
Art and Emanuel Markus and E. L. Domning were in Duluth Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. F. O. Pearson, Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Stafford and Mrs. Layng were in Sandstone Saturday.
Mrs. C. O. Billman, who has been ill, is better at this writing.
Karl R. Von Schenck and daughter, Harriet, and son, Walter, of St. Paul drove to Bruno Saturday. Harriet remained here at the Wahlstrom home while Karl and Walter drove on to Duluth after the other girls, Henrietta and Helen, who had attended school there. On Sunday they all visited at the home of Mrs. Layng here before going to St. Paul.
Mrs. Roy Fox left Monday to join Mr. Fox in Pontiac, Mich., where he is employed.
Ethel Pederson of Barnum came Sunday to stay at the F. O. Pearson home during the absence of Mrs. Pearson who left Wednesday for Rapid City, S. D., for a visit with her sister, Mrs. Ab Hill. Another sister Mrs. Lyle Churchill, of Seattle, Wash., will meet her there.
Mrs. E. L. Domning, who is in the St. Mary's hospital in Duluth, is much better at this writing.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Breiland and children and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Domning went to Rush City Tuesday to visit relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Englund attended baccalaureate services Sunday for the graduating class at the University of Minnesota of which Warren is a member. Services were held at Northrup Auditorium. Mrs. Walsh and Mrs. Faudskar accompanied them.
Donald, George and Henry Ball of Duluth are visiting at the home of their grandmother here at this writing.
Clarence Gault of Minneapolis came Tuesday for a visit with his grandparents here.
Mr. and Mrs. Grant Gault were Monday callers in Askov.
Grant Gault went to Swatara Wednesday of last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Stafford were in Pine City Tuesday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Abe Markus left Friday for Duluth and from there went on to their home in Brainerd.
Fred and Mary Murphy and Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Murphy and the boys were Monday evening callers at the Jim Murphy home in Kerrick.
Jerry Lussenden, who spent last week at his home here, left Sunday for the CCC camp at Red Wing.
Mrs. Irving Plaisted took her mother, Mrs. Olaf Olson, to her home at Grasston Saturday. Mrs. L. O. Lund accompanied her.
Friends of Mrs. Leslie Darling are sorry to learn that she expected to undergo an operation at the University hospital Tuesday for appendicitis. Leslie joined her there Sunday morning. Mary is staying with her grandparents.
Mary and Fred Murphy came home from Minneapolis Monday. Their aunt, Mrs. Brewsaugh, was very ill when they left.
Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Murray of Wisconsin Rapids spent from last Thursday until Monday with Mr. and Mrs. McMann.
Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Miller and family, E. J. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. John Wahlstrom and Joyce and Darrell, Mrs. L. O. Lund, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ames, Signe Eklund and Anna Wendell attended the concert presented recently by the Missionary chorus at Oak Lake.
Mrs. Arthur Anderson and Mrs. Herbert Wendell and son, Leroy, all of St. Paul, were guests of Miss Anna Wendell Sunday.
Mrs. Anna Anderson and Arne Anderson were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Swan Eklund.
Daily vacation Bible school opened at the Emanuel Lutheran church Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock and will continue for two weeks. About 25 children were enrolled Monday. The teachers are Miss Anna Wendell and Miss Ellen Degerstrom.
Clifford Severson of Superior was a week-end visitor at his home here.
Oscar Eklund was in Pine City on official business the first of the week.
