Full Text

HARTFORD, December 31.

We have the satisfaction of informing the public, that in consequence of a vote of the first society in this city, preparations are making for warming the meeting house with stoves! and otherwise rendering it convenient for the reception of the Hon. Convention! who are to meet here this week. In case the attempts which are making should be successful, and the Hon. Convention should judge proper to deliberate in public, we have no doubt but the people will derive much useful information from a full and open discussion of the principles of the new system of government, by the very worthy and patriotic characters who will compose that respectable assembly.
