INTERURBAN
TO
SPRINGER AND WOODFORD—PUT
YOUR FIGHTING CLOTHES ON

Ardmore and Springer and Woodford need an interurban line connecting these three towns. That line can be built. If Ardmore and Springer and Woodford will purchase stock to the value of what they would get out of the line the first year the balance of the money can be borrowed and the road can be built.

There is no need of asking either town for a bonus. Let the people of the three towns subscribe for and pay for $100,000 worth of stock and take that as an asset upon which to borrow the rest of the money needed for the construction work and for the equipment of the line. The road will not belong to one or two heavy stockholders, but will belong to all the people who purchase the stock of the company.

Ardmore needs the line to help it on its upward move toward making a city. Every merchant, every manufacturer, every professional man and every property owner and every clerk and laborer in Ardmore can well afford to take some of the stock.

Springer needs the road to develop its rock crushers and its shale beds and its magnificent farms and every man who owns a foot of land in that whole country can well afford to take some of the stock of the company.

Woodford most of all needs the line. It means asphalt mining and asphalt refining and paint factories for that town. It means a cement mill there that will employ 100 hands and it means a city for Woodford with natural gas and waterworks and all the modern conveniences for comfortable living. It means the enhancement of every acre of land in value along the entire route. Carter county as a whole needs the line of road. It is reasonable to presume that the construction of that line will increase the tax valuations of the county one million dollars.

The Daily Ardmoreite reaches almost every home in Ardmore and in the country surrounding Springer and Woodford. Through this paper stock subscriptions can be gathered. The Ardmoreite wants to hear by letter or by phone from every man who is interested in the line of road. We want your suggestions, we want your stock subscriptions whether these amounts are $5,000 or $50, get them in here, let's feel of the pulse of the people and prove ourselves big enough to build this enterprise for Carter county. Will you respond, or will you wait for someone else to make the first move?

This proposition is not made to get in the way of anybody else. it is for the purpose of helping them. It is not designed to make this paper one penny of money or any other firm or individual: it is for the good of the entire county and especially for the three towns that will be located on the line.

With $100,000 of the stock sold we know the road can be built.

Make this personal to yourself, are you willing to help? If so let us hear from you at once.
