The Crescent City Band propose to give a grand concert for their own benefit in a short time, and we hope our people who delight in rich, inspiring music, will make up their minds to prepare to give them a "bumper" whenever the affair shall come off. The Crescent City Band has no superior in the State, and perhaps not in the entire West, and is an institution which it is not only our interest but our duty to sustain well, and we believe that the liberal hearted people of Evansville have a proper appreciation of its merits, and will do ample justice in the premises.
