June 25. This Day his Majesty went to the House of Peers, and gave the Royal Assent to several Bills, and among the Rest the following, viz. An Act for granting to his Majesty the sum of 600,000 l. out of the Sinking Fund, for the Service of the Year 1751. An Act for the encouraging the making Pot-Ashes in the British Plantations. An Act to regulate and restrain Paper Bills of Credit in his Majesty's Colonies in America; and to prevent the same being legal Tenders in Payment of Money. After Which his Majesty put an End to the Session of Parliament with a most gracious Speech from the Throne.
