The radical newspapers that were so anxious for the nominees of the St. Louis convention to write their letters of acceptance, and could hardly wait until those gentlemen found time to indite the longed for missives, are now, since they have been written and published, and their disastrous effects upon the radical schemes for retaining possession of the government have already begun to appear, sorry they were not delayed longer, for every day they are before the public adds strength to the Tilden and Hendricks ticket.
