Extract of a Letter from London, March 29.

A certain periodical paper called the Whisperer No. 5, & 6, having been laid before the lower room of the Robinhood-Societys The club came to the following resolution: "That the said paper is a false, scandalous, and seditious libel, most insolently affronting and calumniating his M. and his r....f......Y, presuming even to throw out menaces against the K. endeavouring to create in his M. a distrust of his people, as well as to alienate the affections of the people from his M. and tending to excite the most dangerous attempts against his M.'s person, and against the present happy establishment of the government of these k..:: :s in his M.'s ill....s h---e."--After which, it was ordered, that the said resolution be communicated to the upper room at a conference, and their concurrence desired thereto; whereupon a messenger was ordered from the lower room to desire a conference upon a matter of importance to the dignity of the c...n, and the honour of his M.'s person and g...t; and the messenger being returned, reported that the upper room had agreed to the said conference, upon which a committee was appointed to manage the same, who laid the 5th and 6th numbers of the Whisperer, together with the resolution of the lower room before them.....The lower room also resolved, that an h---le a--..-s be presented to his M. that he will be g.....ly pleased to give directions to his Att.....y Gen..r, to prosecute the author or authors; the printer or printers, and the publisher or publishers, of the scandalous false and seditious libel, in order that they may be brought to condign punishment for the same:

It is said that the author or publisher of the Whisperer is not to be found. They are only sold by a Parcel of children, one of whom says he is Master Moore the publisher.
