The legislature of this state adjourned
on Wednesday evening, between 11 and
12 o'clock, after having gone through
and revised all the public laws, which were
ordered to be printed, with an index,
under the inspection of the judges; the
private or local acts in one volume, and those
of a public nature in another.

An act passed during the session,
directing a convention to be chosen, to meet
in October next, for the sole purposes of
establishing the number of senators and
assemblymen to represent the people of this
state in the legislature, and of explaining
the 23d article of the constitution,
relative to the right of nomination in the
council.
