GREENFIELD, (Mass.) April 10.

A Shocking Accident

Happened at Leyden on Saturday last, a number of the inhabitants having collected for the purpose of erecting the frame of a building, and having got it partly raised, the whole suddenly fell, and instantly killed two men—Mr. Squire Bliss, aged 27, and Mr. John Campbell, aged 47; their heads were caught between the timbers, and jammed in a most shocking manner. One man had his leg broke, and several others were much wounded.

Both of the deceased have left wives, and a number of children to lament their fate.
