MISSIONS: Reverend Chester L. Marcus of Cleveland, Ohio has been selected by the United Church of Christ to supervise its missionary activities in Africa. The new post will be secretaryship for Africa in the denomination's Board for World Missions. This will be a promotion from his present post as secretary of the United Church Council.
For Christian Social Action. The past work of the church in Africa has been the establishment of schools and churches as well as agricultural and medical missions in Angola, Ghana, Southern Rhodesia, Togo.
