After examining the returns from every quarter of the State, we are satisfied that the Democracy, will have at least seven of a majority in the next House of Representatives of this State. This is a big change from last year. Then Black Republicanism was everywhere victorious. Now the standard of Democracy, floats in triumph from every hill top in the State. The party has elected its very best men as Representatives, and the Black Republican cormorants, who last winter, preyed unmolested on the public carcass, will during the coming session have to lay low and keep easy. Of course the Senate is strongly Republican, although we have gained several members.
