OPEN SECOND DRIVE ON CAPITAL BOOZE
ARMED WITH WARRANTS DRY FORCE VISIT ALL SECTIONS OF CITY.

Washington, Feb. 17. Police and prohibition enforcement officers have launched their second city wide liquor cleanup since the beginning of February. Armed with fifty warrants they began before noon a series of raids which reached into every section of the capital and which filled rapidly all the available detention space at several station houses.

As in the series of sixty raids conducted February second, evidence was given the revenue agents and police by J L. Asher. one agent from Kentucky. Asher traveled the rounds of the capital underworld this time in the guise of a wandering minister praying his way into the hearts of his victims on a violin.
