The fifth meeting of the Steady Stitchers 4-H Club was held June 14, 2 p.m. at the home of our leader, Mrs. Warfel. Eight members answered roll call with a favorite song.
Dues of 90 cents were collected making a total of $42.64 in the treasury.
Old business discussed was the community project and the sewing machine.
New business discussed was a booth at the Plain City Fair. A health contestant, Ruth Purdum was chosen to represent our club in the County Health Contest.
The meeting was then adjourned.
After the meeting the leaders showed us a sewing kit with samples of seams, buttonholes, zippers and so forth. We played softball for recreation.
