RUMOUR.

A report was in circulation on Saturday last, said to have been received from France, by the way of New London, "that the Emperor Napoleon had been assassinated at one of the public Theatres in Paris: and that several leading members of the government, as well as general officers, were arrested on a suspicion of being agents in the conspiracy: How, or in what manner this Report originated we know not. We have an arrival here, from Rotterdam, as late as the 19th Feb. which makes no mention of any event of this kind. (Boston paper.
