"Orders are received at this dockyard for our artificers to work one tide a day extra for four months; they accordingly began to work last Saturday.
The Triumph and Marlborough guardships, of 74 guns each, are under orders to sail from this port to the Nore; the wind being unfair, they were detained here for several days past, and still remain for a fair wind to carry them to the Nore, at which place they are to wait till further orders.
His Majesty's ship Ramillies of 74 guns, Invincible of 74, and Ardent of 64 guns, which were ordered to be fitted for guardships to lie at this port, are now countermanded."
