The Prince Georges County Recreation Department's classes for children start Saturday, January 28, and continue through April 28 at four locations throughout the county. Classes will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday mornings at the following schools: Northwestern High School, Colesville Road, Hyattsville; Glenridge Junior High School, Gallatin Street, Landover Hills; Suitland High School, Silver Hill Road, Suitland; Fairmount Heights Elementary School, Sheriff and Addison Roads, Fairmount Heights.
Classes are designed for children six to fifteen years of age and divided into beginning and advanced groups.
A registration fee of $3 for each class is charged for the twelve weeks course. Registration for classes will be held Saturday, January 21, from 9 to 11 a.m. at each of the four schools or may be sent in advance to the Recreation Department, 4811 Riverdale Road, Riverdale, Maryland.
The following classes are scheduled: Northwestern High: Baton Twirling, Creative Dramatics, Hawaiian Dance, Ballet, Acrobatics; Glenridge Jr. High: Acrobatics, Social Dancing. Creative Dramatics, Baton Twirling; Suitland High: Creative Dancing, Acrobatics, Creative Dramatics, Art; Fairmount Heights Elementary: Baton Twirling, Tap Dancing.
