Bridging The Mississippi.--We learn that the District Court of the United States has granted an injunction to restrain the construction of a bridge across the Mississippi at Rock Island. This injunction will in all probability be rendered perpetual, and thus prevent the construction of draw bridges over the river for all time to come. In that event Keokuk will remain the only bridge point on the river, for here alone can a bridge be constructed which will span the waters high above the steamboat chimneys, and unite the distant West to the teeming East, by a grand and permanent link of unbroken communication.--[Keokuk Whig.
