CHINESE FOR ATLANTA.
Washington, September 4.—The treasury department today received a telegram announcing the arrival at Vancouver, B. C., of 150 Chinese destined for the Atlanta exposition. It is supposed these Chinese will enter the United States at Ogdensberg, N. Y., and the collector there has been instructed to be on his guard against illegal entries as the department has received information that an effort will be made to effect the entry of several Chinese not legally entitled to come into the United States.
