Butler St. YMCA Campaign Extended; Report Friday Night

Attorney R. E. Thomas General Chairman of the Butler Street Y. M. C. A. Membership Campaign in collaboration with other leaders and captains and workers, announced Saturday that the Butler Street YMCA Campaign would be extended until the full goal is reached. Jesse Hill, Jr, Atty. E. S. D'Antignac and Mrs. Genevieve Haugabrooks, of the Army Division, and Dr. A. M. Davis, Mrs. Lottie Watkins and Joseph T. Bickers, leaders of the Air Force Division, together with the leadership of the Navy Division, Dr. C. F. Goosby and J. H. Calhoun, joined Atty. Thomas in this statement of extension.

CAMPAIGN AT THE

The Campaign to date has reached the two-third stage and has approximately one-third to go to reach its full goal. More than two thousand members and $20,000 in cash has been reported at the meeting on Wednesday, April 2nd. Approximately 1000 members and $8,700.00 cash still is needed if the Butler Street YMCA is to operate on its present schedule for the year 1958.

SPECIAL PLEA TO ALL WORKERS

A special plea was made to all workers today to continue their efforts. The Campaign headquarters announced that there were thousands of prospects who had not been contacted and many prospects who had indicated their intention of renewing their membership after the Easter Holiday.

MANY WORKERS WHO HAVE

are due to work in the Campaign have made no report of any kind and a special plea was made to get these workers to either see their prospects or return the card so that others might contact these prospects, if these workers have not or don't plan to see them.

NEXT MEETING FRIDAY NIGHT

The next meeting, and what is hoped will be the final meeting, will be held Friday, April 4th at 6:30 p. m. Special entertainment and special awards will be made at this meeting and every worker is urged to be present for what
