Residents Cast Votes
On Wearing Of Shorts

Residents of Greenbelt will have an opportunity to express their opinion on the subject of the wearing of shorts at the commercial center in a special poll to be sponsored by the Cooperator. A ballot box will be located at the center all day Saturday, July 10, for this purpose.

Ballots will be available at the ballot box for voting. In addition, subscribers to the Cooperator may use the ballot printed in this issue (see page 4), which may be mailed in by those unable to get to the Center on Saturday. Those who intend to mail in the Cooperator ballot are urged to do so immediately.

Residents who wish to vote must sign their name and address, whichever ballot is used. This is necessary to make certain that the votes have been cast by bonafide citizens of the city. A husband and wife, if unanimous in their vote, may use the same ballot.

It is expected that the results of the balloting will be presented to the city council at its next meeting on Monday, July 12.
