Valley Center

Mrs. R. L. Fye shopped in Lincoln Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Terwilliger have a player-piano installed in their home.

J. G. Mead returned Saturday from Atwood, Kans., where he spent a week on business.

Miss Mattie Childress butchered Wednesday. Mrs. Paul and Mr. and Mrs. J. Hubble from Holmesville helped her.

Mr. and Mrs. Warren Chamberlin motored to Beatrice Friday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Swigart Miller visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Terwilliger.

Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Fye and family and Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Chamberlin spent Saturday evening of last week at L. E. McPheron's.

All the moving here is done now.

Henry Overleese and family have moved into the place just vacated by Henry Shafer who moved near Holmesville. Adam Wick moved to what is known as the Ed Walker farm, east from here. Robert Evans now lives in the Fye property.

Lee Divine moved on the Rice farm and are sending their two small children to school.

The A. B. C. club met at Mrs. James Chamberlin's Thursday afternoon. It was decided not to have the social, which had been planned for.

Ralph Fye butchered Thursday.

Mrs. J. G. Mead visited Sunday afternoon with Miss Childress.

The wood in Mr. Powell's timber which was cut some time ago, was sawed Monday and Tuesday by Jay Hevelone, owner, and a crew of men.

Some of the neighbors are enjoying the meetings at Blue Springs every night.

The farmers' union held a special meeting Thursday night to select delegates for the meeting at Wymore next Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jenkins spent Saturday night at J. G. Meads.
