Melvin A. McCaw, Morehouse College junior, is one of eight American students who will spend the Summer of 1958 in Germany studying youth leadership techniques.
His trip, including transportation, food and lodging will be financed by the West German Government.
The announcement was made recently by the Neighborhood Settlement Association, Inc., of Cleveland, Ohio. McCaw applied to the Association for the trip abroad.

...is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur B. McCaw of Omaha, Neb., and is a graduate of Omaha Central High School. His parents are in Korea where his father is economic comptroller for the U. S. State Department.
The eight Americans will sail from Montreal, Canada, on June 11 aboard the SS Waterdam and will arrive in Rotterdam, Holland, on June 21. They will proceed to Hamburg, Germany, by train.
In Hamburg the group will live with eight German youth leaders who have been guests in a similar program in Cleveland, under the sponsorship of the Neighborhood Settlement Association.
They will spend three or four weeks with one or two Hamburg families and will participate in a course at the University of Hamburg.
