Bring Along The Paper Bell

Bring along the paper bell
cut down the holly tree;
Let us lift our chins and yell
the Christmas jubilee;
Comin' roun' just once a year
an' brethren let us pause,
An' give a merry listenin' ear
to the Santa Claus.

Bring along the ivy vine
the pine-bloom an'such,
Hear the diny carols whine,
ain't they goin'to church:
Ain't nobody here will pout,
we've got no Christmas tree:
But, we're on this front to shout
the jingle jubilee.
