Preble County's Capitol to be Scene of
Great Doings on the Anniversary of
American Independence-Some
of The Features.

Eaton, O., June 23 - (Spl) The enterprising citizens of Eaton have arranged
for an old-time patriotic
Fourth of July
Celebration.

The morning program begins
at 9 o'clock with a grand industrial parade in which the business men of the
town will exhibit handsome floats.

At ten o'clock Hon.
Warren Gard,
of Hamilton. will give a patriotic and
historical address at the fair grounds.

In the afternoon there will be horse
racing and numerous old-time and
amusing contests, such as catching a
greased pig, foot racing, wheelbarrow
racing, sack race, potato race, etc
for which liberal money prizes are
offered.

A feature of the afternoon will be
a base ball game between the Ger-
mantown,
O.,
and Greensfork, Ind.,
teams.

A band concert and
gorgeous display of fireworks will
be given on
the public square in the
evening.
