Our last Advices from South Carolina are to the 2d of September, by which we learn, That the Indians appear to beg for Peace with great Sincerity; That the Great Warrior, &c. were certainly to be at Fort Prince George on the 23d of August, to settle with Col. Grant the Preliminaries of a lasting Peace; so that the next Express Boat will undoubtedly bring us the Articles agreed on. In Consequence of which Intelligence, it was expected at Charlestown that the King's Troops would be at Ninety Six before the 19th of September, on their Way down to re-embark.
