Fontainbleau, Oct. 24. The Earl of Albemarle, Ambassador Extraordinary from the King of Great Britain, had a private Audience of the King the 21st Instant, and deliver'd to him a congratulatory Letter from his Britannick Majesty on the Birth of the Duke of Burgundy; after which he had Audience on the same Subject of the Queen and the Royal Family. At these Audiences his Excellency presented Mr. Ruvigny de Cosne, appointed Secretary to the British Embassy in the Room of Colonel Yorke, who took Leave the same Day of the Court, in Order to take a Trip to London, and there receive his Instructions for the Post of Envoy Extraordinary from the King of Great-Britain to the States General.
