By R. B. ORNDORFF, President El Paso Chamber of Commerce.
San Francisco, Calif., March 25.—Judge Dan M. Jackson, of El Paso, responded yesterday to the address of welcome to the American National Livestock association and made a great hit. The El Paso delegation was very much in evidence at the meeting yesterday and today and we are all feeling confident that we are going to land the 1916 convention for El Paso.
The vote upon the next meeting place will take place tomorrow and it looks mighty good for El Paso. Our delegation is distributing El Paso literature and badges and we are receiving the help of the Southwestern cattlemen who are here from New Mexico, Arizona and western Texas.
The San Francisco papers are giving considerable publicity to our El Paso delegation and its efforts to get the next convention for El Paso. Today the Chronicle printed the picture of Miss Mary Turney Nations, of El Paso.
