Full Text

We are informed that Dr. Gordon, of Taunton, who recently visited New-York to obtain information in relation to the Cholera, having visited the sick in the Hospitals in that city, was a few days since in the stage coach on his return near New-Haven, taken with the cholera, and is now confined with that disease. This information has reached his relatives, in Massachusetts, some of whom have gone to visit him.

The above statement in the Journal of to-day respecting Dr. Gordon, is correct so far as his having been taken ill in the stage on his return from New-York, but his illness was of very short duration, as he left New-Haven last Thursday and arrived in Taunton, his residence, on Saturday, in his usual health, except being rather weak.
