The Circuit Court of this county commenced its session in this place on Monday last--the Hon. Chief Justice Reynolds presiding. Several important suits were determined at this term of the Court--and among them is the following: John Kane vs the President and Directors of the State Bank of Illinois.

This was an action commenced by the plaintiff to recover the amount of a deposit made by him in the State Bank, before the banking-house was burnt, and of which the bank was robbed in March last. The verdict of the jury was in favor of the plaintiff. The Court adjourned this evening.
