The Lions Club laid plans for working with the Rotarians on building additional facilities at the Boy's Scout camp at Monday's noon luncheon. Not quite sure whether or not they could trust the Rotarians with their taking apart the Army huts that are to be used, the Lions appointed Lions Anderson and Sverdrup to see how it was done. The Lions are then to put the huts back together again—if that is still possible—at Eagle River.
Lions Hedges, Rude, Furness and Geeslin spoke of the progress being made on the Boy and Girl Scout drive, as well as additional ideas about the proposed moving of the huts.
Colored sound motion pictures were shown on Uruguay through the co-operation of the State Department as a part of the Good Neighbor policy.
A letter from the makers of the "March of Time" pictures regretfully wrote a letter of apology to the Club, saying they could not send their pictures outside the United States. They did refund the Lions' money.
Guests of the club yesterday were Lion G. Edward Knight, Seward; Dr. C. W. Lokey, New York; Anthony E. O'Brien.
