SHALL WE KNOW EACH OTHER THERE?

Mrs. A. E. Cutler's Last Lectures.

Mrs. A. E. Cutler's course of physiological lectures, of which mention has been made from time to time in our columns, was brought to a close on Tuesday evening by a farewell address in Minerva Hall.

The audience, though not very large, was composed of our most intelligent and cultivated ladies and gentlemen, who listened with the deepest interest to the eloquent and soul-stirring words of the lecturer.

At the close of the lecture a brief half-hour was devoted to social intercourse and a parting clasp of the hand. A gentleman in the audience, taking the floor, paid an eloquent tribute to woman's work and woman's worth, as illustrated in the recent labors of Mrs. Cutler in our midst, and moved a rising vote of thanks, which was heartily and unanimously accorded.

Mrs. Cutler has evidently made many warm friends in our city, and her return will be hailed with pleasure.
