Fraizer Off To Phoenix On New Job

New secretary of state may act as governor at early date

I. P. Fraizer, recently appointed secretary of state succeeding the late J. C. Callaghan, left Nogales with Mrs. Fraizer Wednesday to establish his residence in Phoenix and take up the duties of his office. Mr. Fraizer who headed the Nogales Engineering company in Nogales for many years, may be called upon at an early date to fill the governor's chair at the capitol. Governor John C. Phillips is a member of the Arizona Colorado river commission and will no doubt attend the session of the seven states to be held at Santa Fe, N. M. this month. In case of his absence from the state, Mr. Fraizer will act as governor.
