Extract of a letter from a principal house in London, to their friend in Philadelphia, March 23.

The duty on tea not being repealed, we have sent the Pennsylvania packet with such articles only as your patriots have allowed to be imported, being unwilling to detain her longer, as there are no good grounds to expect further redress this session; although many people have entertained sanguine hopes that before the House breaks up the duty on tea will be taken off, for the accommodation of the East India company.
