L. O'Neill on Monday held W. M. Huggett and C. A. Harris, both of Pima county, to answer to the federal court at Tucson on a charge of smuggling into the United States three cans of smoking opium.

Harris pleaded not guilty and Huggett said he would plead guilty if the commissioner would release Harris. O'Neill told them he would have to commit both to the federal court.

The two were picked up on August 4 when they crossed the line here. While searching for booze the government officers found the opium.
