FROM FALLING WATERS
FALLING WATERS, June 18.

Messrs. Editors:

I have little of special interest to contribute to your excellent paper this week. We are afflicted with the general dullness out here. However, the farmers are quite busy with their corn, and will commence hay-making next week. In consequence of the continued muddiness of the Potomac, we have had no fishing parties here for several weeks. Mr. Boward has opened his new store, and has a fine stock of goods. He is getting ready to receive fishing parties, and will be prepared to furnish them with boats, rods, lines, &c. for fishing.

The wheat is looking fine and begins to show a yellow tinge. Harvest will begin about the first of July.
