Full Text

Harvest. The Yellow Springs, Ohio, Casket of the 20th inst. says, "Harvest has come and gone, The grain crops are pretty generally gathered in; and the anxiety and labor of the farmer somewhat abated. The crops were good, though not superlatively so; the weather has been very favorable, and laborers plenty. An evidence of moral improvement whence we derive the greatest pleasure, is the fact that the practice of drawing in grain on Sunday has greatly subsided. This sign we hail, as no inconsiderable step in the march of moral improvement."
